Torvex verification (“AltGuard”) · Last updated 17 June 2026

This page is shown when you verify to join or stay in the Torvex Discord server. It explains what the verification check collects and why. Verification exists to protect the community from raids, ban evasion, and alt-account abuse.

What we collect

What we do NOT collect

Why we use it

Solely to keep the server safe — detecting accounts that share a device with another account (alts), accounts evading bans, and coordinated raids. We do not sell data, run ads, or use it for anything outside Torvex moderation.

Who it’s shared with

Your IP address is sent to IPQualityScore to assess whether it is a proxy/VPN/abusive IP. No other third parties receive your data. Verification results are visible only to Torvex moderators.

Retention

Verification records and device-link data are kept while you are associated with the server and for as long as needed to detect repeat abuse and ban evasion. You may ask staff to review or delete your data (see Contact). IP/location detail is the most sensitive element and is kept only as long as needed for moderation.

Your choices

Verifying is a condition of access to the server. If you do not wish to verify, you can choose not to join. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact a Torvex moderator.
